    Club

    • How many members do you have?
      We have a core group of over 25 active members.
       
    • How many tables do you have?
      10 tables, acquired within the last 5 years; these are competition-class tables seen at the provincial, regional and national Table Tennis tournaments.
       
    • Is your venue air-conditioned?
      Yes.
       
    • Is there any room for sitting for any accompanying guests?
      Not in the gymnasium, which is used as the playing area.
       
    • How many days do you open every week?
      2 days a week, with 2.5 hour play sessions each.
      - Mondays: 6:30 - 9:00 PM
      - Saturdays: 2:00 - 4:30 PM
       
    • Can I borrow or rent table tennis rackets/bats on site?
      Not currently. We are considering offering the option in the future. For now, players are asked to bring their own playing gear.
       
    • Is formal coaching available for children?
      HTTC is considering programming options. When a decision is made to implement coaching for children, and as more information becomes available, it will be posted on this website as well as communicated through e-mail. (If you are interested in automatically receiving the latest HTTC information and updates, you can enter your e-mail address in the box at the end of this page).

    Membership and Fees

    • What are the Fall 2019 playing options and fees?

      Prepaid membership
      2 days (Mondays and Saturdays) - $115 prepaid for Sep-Dec 2019.
      1 day (Mondays) - $65 prepaid for Sep-Dec 2019.
      1 day (Saturdays) - $50 prepaid for Sep-Dec 2019.

      Registrations/sign-ups for prepaid membership for Mondays are now closed.
      Any player interested in playing on Saturdays (2:00-4:30 PM) is welcome to send an e-mail to the club and indicate their interest in prepaid membership.

      Walk-ins
      Walk-in players are welcome for both Mondays and Saturdays.
      Please do though check in advance by e-mail for the availability of a playing spot.
      - Mondays: Latest by 5 PM

      - Saturdays: Latest by 12 noon
      Walk-in fees is $7 by Interac e-Transfer or $10 cash on site.
       
    • What are the benefits of prepaid membership?
      It offers a lower cost per session and is not conditional on the availability of vacant spots.

    We are a multi-cultural group with players from all around the world. We speak many languages, such as English, Chinese, Russian, Arabic and Urdu. We are motivated novices, eager beginners and intermediate players. We are young and old and in between. We have a dedicated core group of over 25 active members.
